Terms of use

These terms are a starting point written for a Sri Lankan model register. Have a qualified lawyer review and adapt them before you launch. This is not legal advice.

1. What CatwalkLK is

CatwalkLK is a listing platform. We introduce models to companies looking to cast them. We are not a modelling agency, we do not act as your agent, and we are not a party to any booking you agree.

2. Accounts

You must give accurate information and keep it current. One account per person or company. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself.

Model accounts are for individuals listing themselves. You may not list another person without their written consent, and you may not list anyone under 18 unless you are their parent or legal guardian and have given consent through the form.

3. Age

Anyone under 18 needs a named parent or legal guardian with verified contact details and recorded consent. Contact from companies is directed to the guardian. We may withdraw an under-18 listing at any time.

4. Content you upload

You must own or have permission to use every photo you upload, and everyone identifiable in it must have consented. You keep ownership of your photos. You grant us a licence to display them on this site for the purpose of listing you, which ends when you delete them or close your account.

We remove content that is sexual, misleading, someone else’s, or that puts anyone at risk.

5. Casting calls

Companies must name a genuine fee and state the intended usage. Briefs for unpaid work, or that hide the fee, are not accepted. Briefs that solicit nudity from anyone under 18, or that use casting as a route to something other than a legitimate booking, result in immediate removal and a report to the authorities where appropriate.

6. Bookings and payment

A booking is a contract between the model and the company. Agree the fee, the hours, the usage and the payment terms directly, in writing. We do not handle payment, and we are not liable if a company fails to pay — though we will remove a company that does not.

7. Behaviour

No harassment, no misrepresentation, no scraping the register, no using contact details for anything other than a genuine casting enquiry. We suspend accounts for any of these without refund.

8. Our liability

We verify what we reasonably can, but we cannot guarantee that a company or a model is who they say they are. Use judgement, read the safety page, and tell us if something is wrong. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from a booking made through the site.

9. Ending your account

You can close your account at any time from your dashboard or by emailing us, and we will delete your profile and photos. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms.

10. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka, and disputes are subject to the courts of Sri Lanka.
